About the role

We are looking for a strong Lead Product Manager - Marketplace to help shape and scale Tesco Marketplace. Marketplace is a key growth area, with an ambition to build category-led specialist experiences that truly resonate with customers. You will play a critical role in improving how customers discover, browse, and shop Marketplace ranges, while scaling our digital experience to unlock non-food and near-food growth. You will lead the use of AI to move from reactive decision making to predictive, insight-led product management at scale.

You will be responsible for

  • Own Marketplace product areas end-to-end with clear impact on CX, conversion, and growth
  • Build category-led specialist experiences that feel credible and differentiated
  • Drive fast, evidence-led decisions - test, learn, and scale
  • Improve core journeys - discovery, range visibility, product detail, and checkout
  • Use AI for predictive analysis, demand signals, and proactive decision making
  • Apply AI-driven optimisation across merchandising, search, and personalisation
  • Turn data into insight - enabling continuous improvement and automated actions at scale
  • Partner with commercial, design, data, and engineering teams to scale Marketplace experiences

You will need

  • Strong experience in ecommerce, ideally Marketplace or extended range
  • Deep expertise in at least one specialist category (electronics, home, beauty, pets etc.)
  • Track record of launching and optimising Marketplace or extended range
  • Experience owning a customer-facing product area with measurable impact
  • Strong commercial mindset focused on growth and customer outcomes
  • Experience using data, analytics, and AI/ML to drive product decisions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
