Yorkshire Building Society - Lead Product Manager - Savings

At Yorkshire Building Society, we're committed to helping our members achieve greater financial wellbeing. Savings play a critical role in delivering value for our members while supporting the long-term strength of the Society, and we're looking for a Lead Product Manager - Savings to join our Pricing team.

You'll lead a team responsible for the pricing and performance of our savings portfolio. Working closely with colleagues across Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Customer teams, you'll deliver trading activity, pricing recommendations, and performance analysis that support both member and business outcomes.

This is an opportunity to lead an experienced team, influence key commercial decisions, and play an important role in optimising savings performance across the Society.

About the role

This role offers the opportunity to lead a specialist team responsible for the ongoing management and performance of our savings portfolio.

  • Leading the ongoing management, performance, and optimisation of our savings portfolio.
  • Delivering pricing and trading activity that balances member value, commercial objectives, and risk appetite.
  • Monitoring portfolio performance and using market, competitor, and balance sheet insights to support pricing decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimise product performance and recommending pricing actions to support business objectives.
  • Leading and developing a team of Product Managers and Assistant Product Managers, building capability, and creating a high-performing, engaged culture.
  • Supporting delivery of pricing initiatives across the savings portfolio.
  • Working collaboratively with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to understand balance sheet impacts and support wider business objectives.
  • Maintaining strong governance and ensuring Consumer Duty principles remain central to decision-making.
  • Preparing clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.

About you

  • Experience managing financial services products within a regulated environment.
  • A strong understanding of savings products, pricing principles, and market dynamics.
  • The ability to balance customer, commercial, and risk considerations when making decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple business areas.
  • A passion for delivering fair customer outcomes and embedding Consumer Duty into everyday decision-making.
