Lead Product Manager
Join a fast-growing cyber security technology business that’s helping organisations build stronger human defences against evolving threats. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape product strategy, influence business direction, and play a key part in scaling an established SaaS platform.
Role Overview:
- Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)
- Package: £45,000–£55,000pa & benefits
- Industry: SaaS
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap and long-term strategy.
- Take full ownership of the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
- Lead product discovery activities, including customer interviews, feedback sessions and market research.
- Translate customer and commercial insights into clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams.
- Work closely with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, supporting agile ceremonies and driving successful outcomes.
- Make informed prioritisation decisions that balance customer value, technical feasibility and commercial impact.
- Track product performance through KPIs and OKRs, using data to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success and marketing teams to support go-to-market initiatives and customer engagement.
- Provide product expertise during customer conversations and help shape messaging around new features and releases.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to inform future product direction.
- Mentor and support junior product team members while championing a product-led culture across the business.

Main Skills Needed:
- Proven experience in a senior or lead product management role within a SaaS environment.
- Strong background owning and managing complex product backlogs, including prioritisation frameworks and roadmap planning.
- Demonstrable experience working closely with software development teams in agile environments.
- Experience collaborating with commercial, sales and customer success teams to align product strategy with business objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of customer discovery, user research and translating insights into product requirements.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or equivalent product management platforms.
- Confident using data, metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform decisions.
- Background within B2B SaaS is essential.
- Experience working on data-driven or AI-enabled products would be advantageous.
- A technical background as a Product Engineer, Software Engineer or similar would be highly beneficial.
