Lead Product Manager

Join a fast-growing cyber security technology business that’s helping organisations build stronger human defences against evolving threats. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape product strategy, influence business direction, and play a key part in scaling an established SaaS platform.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)
  • Package: £45,000–£55,000pa & benefits
  • Industry: SaaS

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap and long-term strategy.
  • Take full ownership of the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Lead product discovery activities, including customer interviews, feedback sessions and market research.
  • Translate customer and commercial insights into clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams.
  • Work closely with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, supporting agile ceremonies and driving successful outcomes.
  • Make informed prioritisation decisions that balance customer value, technical feasibility and commercial impact.
  • Track product performance through KPIs and OKRs, using data to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success and marketing teams to support go-to-market initiatives and customer engagement.
  • Provide product expertise during customer conversations and help shape messaging around new features and releases.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to inform future product direction.
  • Mentor and support junior product team members while championing a product-led culture across the business.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Proven experience in a senior or lead product management role within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong background owning and managing complex product backlogs, including prioritisation frameworks and roadmap planning.
  • Demonstrable experience working closely with software development teams in agile environments.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial, sales and customer success teams to align product strategy with business objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of customer discovery, user research and translating insights into product requirements.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or equivalent product management platforms.
  • Confident using data, metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform decisions.
  • Background within B2B SaaS is essential.
  • Experience working on data-driven or AI-enabled products would be advantageous.
  • A technical background as a Product Engineer, Software Engineer or similar would be highly beneficial.
