Lead Product Manager
We’re recruiting for a Lead Product Manager to join the Trading Domain in the Global Sportsbook & Trading Team, focused on setting the standard for all our products. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will drive the Product Strategy for the domain, support in the product delivery lifecycle where complexity demands it and contribute your knowledge and experience to the product community. This role will have specific responsibility for overseeing the optimisation of existing services in Trading and driving step-change improvements for customers both internally and externally. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with Product Owners in each of the squads in the Domain. You will contribute towards the continuous improvement of processes and mechanisms to maximise value for your users. If you're passionate about innovation and a strong, persuasive communicator, then this may be the role for you.
The responsibilities
Product Leadership

- Own and shape the long-term product strategy for the domain under the direction of the Head of Product, ensuring alignment with the Global Sportsbook & Trading vision and Flutter’s broader objectives. Drive an OKR-led approach across teams, leading programmes toward key objectives while inspiring and influencing cross-functional teams and senior collaborators to align with strategic goals.
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities using customer insights, market trends, operational data, and strategic analysis to drive innovation and business growth. Develop a peer network across Flutter's divisions and capitalise on divisional success through the Flutter Edge.
- Oversee product performance across the portfolio, using data-driven analysis. This is to identify optimisation opportunities, improve customer outcomes, and influence prioritisation decisions.
Product Delivery Lifecycle
- Lead complex product initiatives from discovery through delivery, coordinating multiple teams, handling dependencies, and balancing strategic priorities to maximise impact.
Product Community
- Act as a leader within the product community by mentoring Product Managers, championing best practices, and driving continuous improvement across product ways of working.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
