Lead Product Marketing Engineer Wotton under Edge Up to £60,000 depending on experience
Renishaw is one of the world’s leading engineering and scientific technology companies. Machine Tools Product Division (MPD) are seeking a Lead Product Marketing Engineer to take responsibility for marketing our range of very successful On-Machine & Smartphone apps, CNC GUIs and Macro Software packages.
You'll hold responsibility for defining market position, pricing, and promotion of the product line along with managing its market adoption and product life cycle. The vast majority of our products are sold outside the UK through our global network of subsidiary offices, and as such the role has the potential to be diverse and exciting, working together with our global subsidiaries and customers. The role may require travel overseas.

This is an established senior role, however, we are open to candidate's of all levels being considered for this post, so even if you feel like you don't meet all of the requirements of the role, we would still encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities Determine and analyse the market for the macro software product line & develop product value propositions when needed. Investigate customer needs, act as the customer representative to ensure requirements are understood and documented, so the correct product specifications can be defined by our design team. Establish competitive and profitable commercial models. Orchestrate effective marketing promotions to drive revenue Oversee product launch activity. Lead and manage the product lifecycle.

Key requirements A higher education qualification an engineering, software, or combined commercial/technical disciplines. PC literate in Microsoft Office applications to a medium level. Experience of product requirements and/or specification capture, business plan creation, and launch plan development.
Desirable requirements Knowledge of the Machine Tool market is desirable but not essential. Experience of working with overseas customers or organisations.
