Production Lead – Engineering Team

We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead the Production/Manufacturing function, driving the transition of products from prototype and first-article stages through to full serial production for both internal and external customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and leading the manufacturing function
  • Ensuring successful transition of products from prototype to serial production
  • Oversight of manufacturing operations, including:
    • Production planning
    • Capacity management
    • Process development
    • Tooling and equipment
    • Workforce growth
  • Implementing manufacturing documentation, assembly procedures, configuration control and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams for efficient product delivery while maintaining high production standards in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience transitioning products from prototype to serial production
  • Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment (highly desirable)
  • Strong background in establishing and scaling manufacturing operations
  • Excellent knowledge of:
    • Manufacturing planning
    • Capacity planning
    • Production scheduling
  • Experience implementing robust manufacturing documentation and control systems
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Quality management
    • Production assurance processes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
