Job Description Summary
Activities to prove the technical validity or feasibility of a concept through the application of scientific and technical methodologies. Work in this family generally aims to demonstrate, through testing or analysis, the performance and potential implementation of a concept.
Exerts influence on departmental operations and is responsible for planning and/or execution. This role enjoys some autonomy but is focused on executing activities within an operational discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some discretion may be necessary but generally within a framework of guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Conceptual or theoretical activities related to the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacture, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Includes the analysis of the behavior of static (structural) and dynamic (rotor dynamics, vibrations) mechanical systems.
- Develop a deep knowledge of a technical discipline. Relies on previous experience and acquired technical expertise to implement a policy/strategy.
- Deep understanding of the main operational factors; uses this understanding to complete one's own work. Deep understanding of how the work of their own team integrates with other teams and contributes to its field.
- Demonstrates discretion and is able to propose different solutions outside of defined parameters, within a framework of guidance. Relies on previous experience and professional training to solve simple tasks. Possesses the technical skills and analytical mind necessary to solve problems. Can use several internal sources outside of their own team to make decisions.
- Position at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or a People Leader capable of hiring and developing talent. Provides informal advice to new team members.

Basic Qualifications
- For roles outside the US: This role requires significant experience in the function and digital audio workstation. Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or bachelor's degree with experience in a relevant field).
- For roles in the US: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma and/or general education diploma with at least 4 years of experience in the function).
