Children & Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service (CYP CEDS)

Band 7 Lead Psychological Therapist/Practitioner Psychologist

Permanent – part time 22.5 hours per week

Do you want to make a difference? Do you have a ‘can do’ attitude, enthusiastic, motivated, and ready for a challenge? Do you possess excellent communication and organisational skills? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Bradford's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

We are seeking to recruit a Lead Psychological Therapist/Practitioner Psychologist, to further develop and grow our multi-disciplinary Children and young people eating disorder team, including psychology, psychiatry, nursing, mental health practitioner and associate practitioner roles. We have a close working relationship with our pediatric colleagues who support with in patient refeeding when necessary. The family therapy FT-AN, FT-BN approach is at our core.

You will be working in a community based multi-disciplinary team delivering a service to children in a rich and diverse community, young people and their families in a supportive and lively team, where different professions are respected and valued. You will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the leadership delivery of a modernised and comprehensive service.

  • Provide evidence-based psychological therapy, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
  • Provide clinical supervision, consultation and advice on psychological therapies and psychological elements of care.
  • Assist the Team Manager/Clinical Lead with operational duties and service development, including research and development activities.
