🚨 New Lead Python Developer Role 🚨
📍 London (Hybrid, 3 days)
🤑 Up to £110,000
OB have partnered with a global InsurTech business transforming how insurance products are built and delivered through modern, data-driven platforms.
As they continue to invest heavily into technology, they’re looking for a Lead Python Developer to join their London-based engineering team to take ownership across architecture, set technical direction and the delivery of scalable, business-critical systems.
🔧 The role
You'll work closely with Engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to design and build high-quality technical solutions, while leading from the front on engineering best practices.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll mentor engineers, influence architecture, improve developer experience and help shape the future direction of their platforms as they scale.
✅ What They’re Looking For
- Python
- Experience designing scalable backend services & platforms
- Strong SQL experience (PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
- Experience working with large-scale data systems
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing and automation
