Build, Shape and Lead the Future of Quality
Are you an experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer looking for the opportunity to make your mark? This is a rare chance to join a growing advanced manufacturing business in a standalone quality role, taking ownership of the entire quality function while laying the foundations for a future Quality Department that you will have the opportunity to build and lead.
Working at the forefront of aerospace and defence manufacturing, you will be the organisation's quality expert, driving compliance, improving processes, and ensuring products consistently meet the highest industry standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll be equally comfortable on the shop floor, engaging with customers, leading audits, and influencing business-wide quality strategy.
If you're looking for a position where you can genuinely shape the future of quality within an ambitious engineering business, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As Lead Quality Engineer, you will take full ownership of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality requirements while supporting business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
Initially operating as a standalone function, you will have the autonomy to develop quality processes, introduce best practices, and ultimately build and manage a dedicated quality team as the business expands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
