The Role
Summary
We are seeking a **highly motivated Sales Originator to join our EMEA team and drive new business development. This fast-paced role focuses on:
- Outbound prospecting via telephone, LinkedIn, email
- Targeting decision-makers in underutilised markets, including German-speaking territories (DACH: Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- Generating qualified sales opportunities for the regional team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A proactive, results-driven sales professional with: ✔ Strong German language skills (preferred, fluency essential) ✔ Experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation ✔ Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders (C-suite, finance, operations) ✔ Technical competency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Responsibilities & Key Functions
Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
- Research-based outreach: Identify high-value opportunities across EMEA, including asset sales tied to site closures, restructuring, or insolvency.
- High-volume prospecting: Conduct extensive phone outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and email campaigns to qualify opportunities.
- Direct engagement: Speak confidently with senior decision-makers, confirming asset activity (e.g., site closure, restructuring).
- Pipeline management: Maintain a constant inflow of qualified leads via daily, KPI-driven activities.
- Messaging innovation: Develop creative, high-conversion outreach strategies tailored to sectors/sectors.
- Competitor & trending awareness: Monitor industry trends to spot emerging restructuring/asset liquidation opportunities.

Client Engagement & Relationships
- Lifecycle management: Lead client inquiries from introduction to handover (e.g., scheduling telcos, securing site visits, arranging team presentations).
- Consistent follow-up: Nurture leads through regular touchpoints, moving opportunities systematically from cold contacts → qualified pipelines.
- Team transition: Provide proper handover of qualified leads to senior sales teams for conversion.
Strategic Market Development
- Support EMEA senior leadership in penetrating German-speaking markets (DACH focus) through research-based strategies, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and CRM tools (including AI analytics).
- Continue exploring hybrid prospecting tools: expand lead sources using industry databases, predictive analytics, and AI-driven insights.
CRM & Performance Analytics
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date Salesforce records of all client interactions, call notes, and pipeline metrics.
- Track KPIs (monthly call volume, meetings booked, revenue qualified, pipeline contributions) and ensure goals are met.
- Report prospects’ engagement trends to twice-yearly forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Lending/ Valuation/ Commercial Real Estate teams (and international contacts) to spotlight cross-border opportunities.
- Support smooth transitions between outbound origination and operational execution where appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- 2+ years in outbound sales, with proven results in:
- High-volume telephone prospecting and LinkedIn engagement
- Generating targeted, qualified leads for complex B2B sectors
- CRM systems (especially Salesforce).
- Multilingual capability: Fluency in German for outreach in German-speaking markets; English fluency mandatory for global clients.
- High-energy traits: discipline, resilience, and a tenacious relationship-building mindset.
- Technical skills: proficiency with Email tools, Sales Navigator, sales outreach tech (e.g., Apollo, Workato).
Advantageous
- Prior EMEA experience (including German markets).
- Industry-sector familiarity: retail estates, insolvency/trade finance, or multi-asset commercial expertise.
