About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised, and dynamic Sales Originator to join our EMEA-based team and drive new business opportunities, with a strong preference for a fluent German speaker to support our expanding operations in German-speaking markets.
You are:
- Proactive in identifying new opportunities
- Skilled in high-volume outreach (phone, LinkedIn, email)
- Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers (C-suite, finance, restructuring professionals)
- Expert in German sales & commercial conversations (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
- Research and target new market opportunities across EMEA, focusing on untapped sectors.
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns.
- Engage senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, restructuring teams) to uncover sale-driven opportunities.
- Qualify leads by validating insolvency events, restructuring, or site closeouts.
- Maintain a disciplined daily pipeline aligned with KPIs (calls, meetings, qualified leads).
- Develop creative messaging strategies to improve response rates.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build long-term relationships through consistent follow-ups, calls, and LinkedIn engagement.
- Deliver client introductions and presentations to highlight Gordon Brothers’ value proposition.
- Nurture opportunities until hand-off to senior sales teams.
- secured site inspections and asset lists from prospective clients.
Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape market strategies, with DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) focus.
- Identify new lead sources via AI tools, Sales Navigator, databases, and networking.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, restructuring markets, and economic shifts.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Ensure accurate Salesforce CRM records for outreach, follow-ups, and lead progression.
- Monitor KPIs (calls, meetings booked, qualified leads, pipeline progression).
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly outreach goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with lending, valuation, and real estate teams to support regional and cross-border deals.
- Facilitate smooth handover of qualified opportunities to senior sales professionals.
Role Basics
- Location: Office-based with occasional travel.
- Compensation: Competitive total rewards package (base salary + incentives + benefits).

Skills & Characteristics
✅ Confident communicator – Speak with leadership at all levels. ✅ Digital sales savvy – Proficient in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and outreach tools. ✅ Highly organised – Execute daily volume-driven prospecting with resilience. ✅ Solutions-oriented – Align sales with commercial business goals. ✅ German fluency (spoken/written): Highly preferred.
Experience & Education
- 2+ years in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation (regional/EMEA preferred).
- Proven track record in:
- Cold calling & prospecting
- Pipeline management with CRM systems
- Generating high-quality inbound leads
