Lead Salesforce Developer / Solution Architect
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud | London | Hybrid
We're working with a leading financial services organisation embarking on one of its most significant customer technology transformations. As part of a major investment in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, we're looking for an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer / Solution Architect to take ownership of the technical direction of a brand-new enterprise Salesforce platform.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture of a business-critical platform from the ground up, working alongside senior technology leaders and a specialist delivery partner before taking full ownership of the platform and its long-term roadmap.
If you enjoy combining hands-on development with technical leadership and architecture, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact.
The Role
You'll be responsible for defining the technical architecture, development standards and engineering approach for an enterprise Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementation supporting the full client lifecycle.
Working closely with Product, Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams, you'll ensure solutions are scalable, secure, high-performing and aligned with Salesforce best practice while mentoring developers and driving technical excellence across the platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
