Lead Security Architect – Identity & Access Management (IAM) & PAM

Permanent Role | UK Based | Hybrid | Leadership Opportunity

Lead and Build a Market-Leading Identity Security Practice

Identity has become one of the most critical and fastest-growing areas within cyber security. We are seeking an exceptional Lead Security Architect – IAM & PAM to take ownership of a growing Identity capability, shaping strategy, driving innovation and building a world-class practice.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Lead Architect, Principal Security Architect or Identity Practice Leader to move beyond traditional architecture delivery and take ownership of the growth, direction and success of an established Identity & Access Management function. You will combine deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, client advisory and commercial influence to help expand one of the organisation’s flagship cyber security practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, shape and grow the Identity & Access Management practice, defining the long-term vision, strategy and capability roadmap.
  • Own the development of IAM, IGA, PAM and Identity Security services across enterprise clients.
  • Lead complex Identity transformation programmes and provide strategic architectural direction.
  • Build, mentor and develop a high-performing team of security architects and consultants.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs and senior technology stakeholders.
  • Define architectural standards, delivery methodologies and best practices across Identity Security.
  • Support the growth of strategic partnerships with leading Identity vendors including CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity and ForgeRock.
  • Work closely with sales and leadership teams to identify opportunities, develop client relationships and grow the Identity portfolio.
  • Support business development activities, client engagements and market expansion across sectors including financial services, government, energy, retail and critical infrastructure.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
