A welcoming and well-established Primary School in Greenford is seeking a Lead SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This role involves working within a specialist provision-style setting within the school, supporting a small group of pupils with higher-level needs.
You will take a lead role within a small team, working closely with the SENCo to deliver structured, engaging and supportive learning.

Lead SEND Teaching Assistant - The Role
Leading support for a small group of 4-5 pupils with higher-level needs
Working closely with the SENCo to understand learning objectives and plans
Delivering structured activities and adapting learning in real time
Supporting communication, engagement and emotional regulation
Working as part of a small team, taking a lead role in day-to-day delivery
Creating a calm, consistent and supportive environment

Requirements
Strong experience supporting pupils with SEND
Confidence leading small group provision
Ability to adapt and think on your feet
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
