About the Role: Lead Experience Designer

The LSEG Design UX team is seeking a talented, user-obsessed, visually inspired Lead Experience Designer to:

  • Develop exquisite customer journeys and UX experiences
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of service designers, visual designers, and developers
  • Convert complex challenges into elegant, innovative, and useful solutions

Collaborating in a hybrid work environment, you’ll blend remote digital tools with in-person engagement to build networks and drive design influence.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will: ✅ Lead strategic UX initiatives across LSEG’s digital ecosystem to:

  • Design end-to-end service experiences
  • Provide beautiful, intuitive, and engaging interfaces
  • Advocate for users in discussions with product owners, technical and leadership teams
  • Drive UX consistency while harmonising brand architecture, technical constraints, and business goals
  • Supervise and contribute to customer journey mapping, heuristic analysis, prototyping, and hands-on delivery

Special Considerations

  • Blend qualitative and quantitative feedback loops into the design process
  • Determine and justify UX priorities against user needs, brand integrity, and feasibility
  • Own an agile, high-profile, fast-paced portfolio of design projects

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in: Service Design, Interaction Design, Information Design, Product Design
  • Cross-functional expertise leveraging:
    • Collaboration with stakeholder workshops
    • Hybrid qualitative+quantitative design research
    • Accessibility and inclusive design
  • Proficient in Figma, information architecture, heuristic evaluation, and design systems
  • Technical communication skills (stakeholder facilitation, data-first personas, and problem-solving storytelling)

  • Relishes shaping process, leading workshops, and navigating multidisciplinary deadlines
