Lead Sharedo Developer (Scotland Central Belt, Hybrid)
Head Resourcing is pleased to be partnering with one of Scotland’s leading legal firms who are looking for a Lead Sharedo Developer to join their IT team.
This is a key technical role responsible for the development, optimisation, and support of the firm’s Sharedo / Clio Operate platform and wider business solutions. The successful candidate will act as the technical lead for Sharedo development, delivering innovative solutions that improve business processes, efficiency, and user experience.

Reporting to:
Director of IT
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead technical authority for Sharedo / Clio Operate solutions, including platform configuration, workflows, Smart Plans, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise Sharedo / Clio Operate functionality using Sharedo Modeller, JavaScript, and Visual Workflows.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Manage development activity through Azure DevOps, including backlog management, sprint planning, user stories, and delivery tracking.
- Provide third-line application support, including troubleshooting, SQL investigation, root cause analysis, and problem management.
- Drive continuous improvement of the platform, identifying opportunities for automation, integration, and AI-enabled enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers, promoting best practice and high-quality delivery.

Experience Required:
- Strong hands-on experience with Sharedo / Clio Operate development and configuration.
- Experience with Smart Plans, Visual Workflows, JavaScript, and Sharedo Modeller.
- Knowledge of application architecture, integrations, and business process automation.
- Experience using Azure DevOps within an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including SQL investigation and application support.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ways of working:
This role will require office attendance twice per week in the central belt of Scotland.
