Lead Software Engineer
Manchester (Hybrid)
Up to £70,000 + Benefits
Are you a Lead Software Engineer looking to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes that genuinely make an impact?
We're partnering with a leading technology consultancy delivering cutting-edge solutions across both public and private sector clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building modern applications and services using technologies across the full stack
- Developing cloud-native solutions, primarily within multi-cloud environments
- Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Working with containers, serverless technologies, and infrastructure as code
- Ensuring high standards across security, performance, accessibility, and code quality
- Leading a team of Engineers (and remaining hands-on yourself!)

What We're Looking For
- Commercial software engineering experience across full stack engineering
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within agile delivery teams
- Experience leading on engineering projects
