The role
You'll own a key area of a modern enterprise platform, leading a small team while designing, building, and delivering high-quality software. Working closely with product, design, and engineering leaders, you'll help shape both the technology and the roadmap.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the delivery of complex software features
- Write clean, scalable production code
- Own technical decisions and architecture
- Mentor engineers through coaching and code reviews
- Collaborate with product and design teams
- Champion engineering best practice and secure development

What you'll bring
- Strong commercial software engineering experience
- Expertise in C++, Java, Rust, or Python, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Angular
- Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers
- Confidence making technical decisions and solving complex problems
- An interest in AI-assisted development tools
- UK right to work and eligibility for SC Security Clearance
