About AgentNode
We're building AgentNode: AI-powered lead follow-up and appointment setting for US real estate agents. We already sell to these agents every day, so you'll have real users on your product within days of shipping - not quarters.
We're hiring our first engineer. You'll be employee number one on the technical side, working directly with the two founders, and you'll own the platform end to end.
The Role
- Create the product end to end - frontend, backend, data model, deployment. The architecture decisions are yours to make and defend.
- Build the AI workflow layer: LLM-driven lead engagement, follow-up and appointment setting, with a human-in-the-loop review step before anything is sent.
- Ship weekly against real customer feedback.
- Set the technical direction - stack, infrastructure, security, and how we handle compliance in a regulated messaging environment.
- Grow into the engineering lead. As we raise and hire, you're the person who builds and runs the team.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Requirements
- A strong full-stack engineer who can take a web product from an empty repo to live on your own (React/Next.js with Node or Python, or a comparable modern stack).
- You've shipped with LLM APIs in production - prompt design, structured outputs, chaining and orchestrating multi-step workflows. Not just experimented.
- Comfortable building against third-party REST APIs and webhooks, and you can design a sensible relational data model without supervision.
- You've handled the unglamorous foundations: authentication, multi-tenant account structure, basic security practice, Stripe billing.
