via hackajob with TPXimpact, we are looking for an outstanding professional to fill the role of Lead Software Engineer.
This position involves overseeing the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex software systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and scalability.
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance to foster growth.
- Ensure consistent application of coding standards, development best practices, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI teams, DevOps, QA, and IT to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring smooth delivery.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance performance, reliability, and security in software applications.
- Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to promote learning within the team.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during software development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in software engineering, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and introduce beneficial tools and methodologies.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet scope and time deadlines.
- Contribute to bid activities, early-stage hiring (e.g., CV screening or technical assessments).
About You
Professional Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Extensive experience in full-stack software engineering, covering design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Microservices; multidisciplinary language expertise is preferred.
- Strong comprehension of Agile, TDD, and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with several programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Extensive experience in well-tested code development.
- Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience using various architecture patterns, like microservices and event-driven.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven capability to manage and lead engineering teams to success.
- Expertise in designing scalable and secure software architectures.
