About the Role
ClarusONE Sourcing Services, LLP—a joint venture between Walmart and McKesson—provides strategic generic pharmaceutical services to enable access to affordable medicines for millions of Americans. Key Objective: Drive strategic sourcing and supplier relations that deliver measurable value, mitigate risks, and align with ClarusONE’s business goals. Champion innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong market and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify value opportunities and risks through data-driven insights, developing and executing strategies that enhance financial outcomes and reduce exposure.
- Develop and implement supplier strategies, ensuring alignment between key partners and business goals through forward planning.
- Secure financial impact via complex negotiations, balancing value creation with risk management while leveraging market intelligence.
- Build and manage high-impact supplier relationships, including leading Business Review Meetings and driving long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate across teams (Sourcing Execution, Finance, Member Engagement, Analytics, Technology) to refine sourcing processes, ensuring best-in-class standards and timely, effective delivery.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of initiative, innovation, and accountability.
- Represent ClarusONE at industry events to solidify its position as a thought leader in supplier relations and sourcing.

Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills & Experience
- At least 5+ years in retail, sourcing, consulting (pharmaceuticals), or FMCG.
- Proven expertise in supplier/category/contract management and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with generic Rx, OTC pharmaceuticals, and consumer healthcare products is highly advantageous.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and data synthesis to derive actionable insights.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Formal training in negotiations or demonstrated experience in similar roles.
