Are you passionate about working with children with Early Years and SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities) and making a positive difference in their lives? The Children’s Respite Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our friendly team at our centre in Uckfield
About the Role:
- Position: Early Years Educator
- Hours: 14 hours term time.
- Location: Uckfield – Just off the High Street
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, energetic team player who enjoys working with children aged 2–4-year-olds
- Experience with working with children with SEND is a bonus, but not essential. Training can be provided.
- Someone who can help plan and tailor engaging activities depending on the children’s interested and needs.
- A responsible individual who can supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children is paramount

Requirements:
- Ability to thrive in play environments and connect with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good IT skills
- Level 2 in Early Years minimum
- GCSE 4 or above in English and Math but not essential. Willingness to work on achieving similar

Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
