About the Role
Are you passionate about turning strategy into action and influencing how a newly combined organisation delivers change? At Ageas UK, we’re building a new Strategic Planning team and we’re seeking a Lead Strategic Planning Analyst to shape its future.
This is a unique opportunity to:
- Bring expertise, challenge thinking and influence stakeholders across the business
- Help build a unified approach to planning, prioritisation, and performance management
You’ll work closely with senior leaders to play a central role in supporting and leading the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process, driving alignment across Ageas, esure and Saga, and guiding teams through the integration journey. Your responsibilities will also include providing coaching, mentoring, and steering strategic capabilities across the wider organisation.

- Strategic partnership: Collaborate with value stream leaders and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic insight, challenge assumptions, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Enterprise governance: Drive enterprise planning and governance, ensuring full visibility of actions, risks, dependencies, and performance against strategic objectives.
- Integration leadership: Champion Ageas, esure and Saga integration by helping teams to coordinate delivery and sustain momentum across key initiatives.
- Best practice champion: Promote, foster, and embed strategic planning frameworks, OKRs, performance management tools, while coaching colleagues to enhance planning capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
