Business Area: Nestlé UK&I - Confectionery
Location: York (Hybrid working – 2 -3 flexible days a week in our office)
Salary: £69,450 to £85,000 depending on experience

Position Summary
As a result of reviewing our structure within CDT to enable the delivery of the Market Business Strategy, our Confectionery UK&I team are now recruiting for a leader to join the Commercial Development Team (CDT) as Lead Strategic Revenue Manager, working alongside a fellow Strategic Category Lead and reporting to the Commercial Development Team Director. This is a new position leading a small team who will lead the creation of a Strategic Commercial Plan.

We are looking for a leader who can role model a ‘triple win mindset’ to create winning propositions which have our Shoppers, Customers and Nestlé at the centre of their reasoning.
Your impact
As part of the CDT Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the shaping and delivery of the Confectionery category growth plan. Working closely with Marketing and your CDT colleagues, you will develop commercial strategies to deliver market share growth for our brands through our customers and priority channels across a 3 year horizon.

You will input into our 3-year category growth strategy creation and be a key figure in the refining and commercialisation of individual brand and format initiatives which support the growth plan.
You will coach and develop your Strategic Category Management team to commercialise brand and category initiatives and secure the resources we need to win.
Cross functional working is a vital part of this role, working closely with the Confectionery Sales team to problem solve and develop exciting new proposals for our customers. Equally working with the Marketing team to shape new propositions for the longer-term plan and modelling with our supply and factory teams to identify how they will help us achieve our goals.
This leadership role is critical to executing our Market Business Strategy across channels and customers, so an open mind and ability influence stakeholders regularly is a key skill.
Your ingredients for success
To be successful and to progress your application, you will have the following specific successful experiences:
- Previous Strategic CDT experience, ideally in Confectionery.
- Extensive sales leadership experience across at least two channels and two different categories
- Experience of working in a customer head office setting would be very beneficial
- Experience of leading and managing people
You will also:
- Be motivated to add to the performance culture we are creating in Confectionery CDT and the wider Confectionery Team where people are inspired by their leaders and focus on what matters most.
- Have an ability to stand back from situations and see the bigger picture as well as an analytical approach to drive insight and be able to transform data into compelling stories.
- Have experience of shaping and delivering winning category plans.
- Understand the importance of working towards a triple win – Customer, Shopper, Nestlé.
- Find ways to fully exploit the amazing resources and brand strength we enjoy in Confectionery.
