Our Store Development team are looking for a Lead Technical Services Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value engineering projects across our iconic estate.

. About the Ro
le In this role you will work closely with the Store Development Team to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of all building services systems and fire life safety systems across the Harrods Capital Works Program
me. You will need to liaise closely with all Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Concessions, Facilities Management, Fire Office and IT teams within Harrods in implementing mechanical, electrical, public health systems and Fire Life Safety on projects from design and planning through to implementation and evaluat
ion. You will operate across a diverse and high-value portfolio, overseeing significant capital investment programmes and supporting both business-as-usual works and large-scale transformations. You will focus across all the major projects for FM / Engineering and Fire and Security with a number of exciting projects on our roa
dmap. Your accountabilities will in
clude: Oper ations:Lead the delivery of multiple projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance and adherence to programme and budget.Manage and coordinate internal teams and external consultants across MEP, lighting and specialist s ystems.Collaborate with key stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Fire, H&S, Security and Operations) to ensure project requirements are fully inte grated.Oversee design development, technical specifications, tendering and contractor perfo rmance.Review and approve design proposals to ensure alignment with Harrods standards and statutory requir ements.Ensure effective project handover, including all documentation, O&M manuals and operational rea diness.Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and the Harrods Technical Standards, including Golden Thread requir ements.Support long-term MEP strategy, including development of design standards and asset information systems (e.g. CAD/

About You You will be a proactive and technically strong project professional, confident in leading complex engineering projects and navigating a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment. Enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and bringing clarity to technical
challenge s. You will:Hold a Professional Membership – MCIOB, CIB SE or alike.Have 7+ years of MEP experience in a Senior Role.Bring a mechanical bias, alongside a solid understanding of electrical and public hea lth systems.Be confident managing consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders sim ultaneously.Professionally qualified in construction with an engineering related degree, HND or equivalent with a clear understanding of the principles of good design.Practically experienced in construction and project management from inception to completion.Highly organised with strong analyt ical skills.A team player with a desire for excellence.Willingness for occasional travel to other sites
