Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing multiple high-value capital programmes, supporting both business-as-usual works and large-scale transformations across FM/Engineering and Fire & Security projects.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and Harrods’ technical standards, including Golden Thread requirements.

✔ Lead multi-project portfolios from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to programme/budget. ✔ Manage and coordinate internal teams and external consultants across MEP, lighting, and specialist systems. ✔ Collaborate with key stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Fire, H&S, Security, Operations) to align project requirements. ✔ Oversee design development, technical specifications, tendering, and contractor performance. ✔ Review and approve design proposals to align with Harrods standards and statutory requirements. ✔ Facilitate project handover, including documentation, O&M manuals, and operational readiness. ✔ Support the long-term MEP strategy, including design standards and asset information systems (e.g., CAD/Revit).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
