Geoquip Marine is a specialist offshore geotechnical engineering company supporting the offshore energy, renewables, and infrastructure sectors worldwide. Operating our own fleet of purpose-built vessels and using advanced geotechnical technology, we deliver high-quality seabed investigations, laboratory testing, and engineering solutions that help clients make informed decisions for complex offshore projects.

Job Title: Lead Training and Development Advisor
Location: Bristol, UK
Onsite/Hybrid: Predominantly Office Based (some flexibility)

No two days are the same. From hosting training initiatives, designing digital learning, and coordinating global training programmes to partnering with external providers and supporting organisational change, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of learning at Geoquip Marine while ensuring we continue to meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Training and Development team.
- Design and deliver engaging learning and development programmes that support colleagues across our global business.
- Partner with managers to identify training and development needs and create practical, effective learning solutions.
- Manage and continuously improve our training and competency frameworks, ensuring compliance and high-quality learning experiences.
- Evaluate the impact of training, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver innovative and cost-effective learning.
- Champion digital learning and new approaches that make development accessible, engaging, and relevant.
- Provide expert advice on learning and development, helping to foster a culture of continuous learning across Geoquip Marine.
- Promote our commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and the Environment (QHSE) in everything you do.
Who We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who is passionate about learning and development and enjoys helping others reach their potential. You'll bring:
- A Learning and Development or HR qualification, ideally at Level 5 (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in learning and development, training, or competency management.
- Experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions across a variety of formats.
- A good understanding of safety and compliance training, ideally within a technical or operational environment.
- Willing to travel and work onboard our vessels and across our business entities.
