About the Role
As Lead Value Engineer, you’ll serve as our customers’ trusted strategic advisor, ensuring they derive maximised value from the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. With full responsibility for the end-to-end value lifecycle, you’ll lead land-and-expand strategies, conduct proof-of-value assessments, and drive adoption—transforming strategic goals into measurable improvements.
This role bridges industry expertise, process analytics, and executive-level storytelling, accelerating the adoption of Process Intelligence across sectors like CPG, Manufacturing, and Automotive—specifically in Finance and Supply Chain operations.
The Work You’ll Do
Identify & Frame Value
- Translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Build decisive demos and business cases using industry benchmarks to win new customers
- Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects, presenting opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives
Realize Value
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process enhancement opportunities
- Derive improvement measures in critical business functions like Finance/Supply Chain and drive enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present quantified results to senior management and C-level stakeholders, ensuring adoption
Scale Value
- Oversee the entire customer value journey—from landing to expansion, renewal, and strategic embedding
- Develop tailored expansion roadmaps to solidify Celonis as a business transformation partner
- Provide valuable feedback to Product Development on new use cases and platform enhancements

Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer value journeys, aligning complex business goals with Celonis capabilities.
- Leverage process mining insights, AI, and data intelligence to solve operational challenges.
- Work collaboratively with Celonis Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in business software (SAP, BI, process tools), RPA, and data analytics.
- Master proven storytelling and executive communications to drive adoption.
What You Bring
Essential Qualifications
- Analytical problem-solving expertise with a focus on business data analysis, process improvement, or Software deployment in customer-facing roles.
- Experience in Value Engineering, Solution Consulting, IT/Management Consulting, or Business Software/SaaS implementation.
- Proven track record in business process optimisation, driving change, and user/process owner training.
- Deep finance and/or supply chain domain knowledge, along with a grasp of strategical transformations like Shared Services or System Migration.
- Technical familiarity with Business Intelligence apps, dashboards (e.g. Power BI), Python/SQL, AI, and ERP systems (SAP).
- Strong project management skills for managing cross-account, multi-phase value journeys.
- Experience preparing value roadmaps and securing stakeholder buy-in at executive level.
- Thrives in high-impact industries like manufacturing, automotive, CPG, retail, pharma, or chemicals.
Qualifications - Formal
- Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
