The Team: UK Value Engineering
The UK Value Engineering team is responsible for our largest Fortune500 customers and owns their transformation journey by working at the frontier of data and AI capabilities. Partnering closely with the Sales team, Value Engineering ensures the Celonis data & AI platform is deployed to tackle the most strategic business challenges, fits seamlessly into the customer’s technology stack, and generates strong ROI through deep and broad deployments.
The Role: Lead Value Engineer
As a Lead Value Engineer, you will spearhead data-driven business transformation with our customers by owning their end-to-end value journey. You are their trusted technology & business advisor, helping organisations achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
This role combines:
- A strong understanding of technology (strategic and technical)
- Consulting skills in strategic thinking and program management
Your responsibilities will include:
- Translating customers' objectives into value assessments or proof-of-value projects
- Advising how Celonis fits into their IT landscape and AI strategy
- Building business cases and demos
- Running value workshops
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to achieve value-driven results
- Securing long-term partnership agreements
The Work You’ll Do
1. Identify & Frame Value
- Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Advise organisations on how Celonis’ platform integrates into their it system and AI strategy
- Build demos and business cases using industry benchmarks and best practices
- Use hands-on skills in SQL/Python to prototype (AI-driven) solutions
- Lead the development of value opportunities and strategic roadmaps for C-Level executives

2. Realize Value
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process improvement opportunities using Celonis
- Guide improvement measures in core business functions, including change initiatives
- Present results to senior management and C-Level executives
3. Scale Value
- Oversee the entire customer journey—landing, expanding, adoption, and renewals
- Build expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis for enterprise-wide business transformation
- Provide feedback to product teams to enhance the Celonis platform based on real-world use cases
The Qualifications You Need
Data, Analytics, and IT Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g, SAP)
- Hands-on SQL/Python experience
- Experience collaborating with IT teams
- Knowledge of data dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) and RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
- Familiarity with AI-powered solutions
Customer Value Focus
- Experience in analytical roles that demonstrate or secure value through:
- Process improvement initiatives
- Software deployments
- Business data analysis in a customer-facing role (Solution Consulting/Sales Engineering/IT Consulting)
- In-house experience in a Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence in enterprises
Process Improvement & Value Realization
- Track record of identifying use cases for process improvement
- Deploying and scaling internally or externally
- Acting as a change agent and training users/process owners
Project Management
- Proven ability to plan project scopes, timeline, and expectations
- Managing multiple projects at varying value stages
- Leveraging external Celonis Ecosystem partners where applicable
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Presenting to stakeholders and executives with corporate communication skills
- Crafting presentations in English with approachability and authority
Domain Expertise
- Deep expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, or similar areas
- Experience in strategic transformation initiatives (Shared Services Transformation, System Transformation)
- Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Pharmaceutical, or Chemicals

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or equivalent technical disciplines
