Salary: £85,000 DOE Welcome bonus: Up to £10,000 Relocation allowance: Up to £8,000 On-Site Accommodation: Available

We’re looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to step up and shape the next chapter at Easipetcare Chatham. This role is not about keeping things running—it is about driving standards, mentoring a top team, and building a culture that we’re all proud of.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, your role will involve:

  • Clinical Leadership & Mentorship:

    • Lead, inspire, and develop vets and nurses within the practice.
    • Foster an inclusive, supportive team culture built on collaboration and shared purpose.
  • Caseload Management:

    • Deliver a varied and rewarding caseload spanning orthopaedics, soft tissue, cardiology, and diagnostic imaging.
    • Work closely with a visiting cardiologist and imaging certificate-holding vet at the Dartford site.

  • Clinical Governance:

    • Embed Quality Improvement (QI) principles to actively enhance patient outcomes—no box-ticking.

Key Qualifications & Experience

You will bring:

  • A veterinary degree and valid RCVS registration (or eligibility to register).
  • Proven experience in general clinical practice with confidence in handling routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Outstanding communication skills and capability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and a willingness to embrace feedback for continuous development.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and adaptability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A passionate commitment to high-quality patient and client care.
