About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Project Lead Writer to lead the narrative delivery of one of our live projects. This is a creative leadership role for someone who combines exceptional writing and editing skills with strong project management, people leadership and stakeholder management.

Project Leadership

  • Lead the narrative delivery of a complete game season from concept through release.
  • Own project planning alongside Production and the Narrative Producer.
  • Coordinate and lead writers' rooms, script development, reviews, rewrites, playtesting and launch.
  • Ensure narrative milestones are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
  • Drive continuous improvements to narrative workflows and delivery processes.

Writing & Narrative Quality

  • Write, edit and review interactive scripts to an exceptional standard.
  • Maintain consistency of character voice, tone, branching narrative and player agency.
  • Ensure all narrative content aligns with the IP, creative vision and Fusebox narrative standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues before release.
  • Champion best practice across interactive fiction writing and narrative design.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
