Job Description - Inviting applications for the role of Senior Vice President, Enterprise Risk Consulting!

In this role you will be responsible for taking the service line to its next growth milestone. This requires a commercially driven approach — one that combines deep domain expertise with strong sales orientation, consultative client engagement, and innovation-led solutioning. The role needs a visionary leader who can identify and commercialize IPs, transforming processes, frameworks, and analytics into scalable, tech-enabled offerings. The leader will be expected to drive the “forward engine” of growth—leading sales, managing strategic client relationships, and presenting a unified voice to the customer—while ensuring delivery excellence across a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the ERC Service Line

    • Develop and implement a long-term business vision and strategic plan for the ERC Service line covering market penetration, client expansion, and service innovation.
    • Identify relevant technologies, platforms, and tools that enable the delivery of high-quality digital services and incorporate them into the division's strategy.
    • Set clear objectives that enable the division to achieve its goals and measure progress against those objectives regularly.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

    • Accountable for P&L growth of the enterprise risk services.
    • The leader will own growth, gross margin and building differentiated solutions for ERC space.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities globally with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead the sales strategy and execution, including client acquisition, consultative selling, and account growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

    • Cultivate and sustain trusted, influential relationships with senior stakeholders including Heads of Internal Control, Internal Audit, Compliance and other critical client leadership roles, ensuring alignment and partnership excellence.
    • Lead from the front in managing customer relationships and forging enduring partnerships with key client decision makers.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Service Line

    • Drive operational excellence by ensuring that objectives in engagements are fully realized and deliver tangible, measurable value to customers.
    • Provide strategic oversight and governance of the delivery mandate, driving growth and high performance across a globally distributed team.
    • Ensure the highest standards of quality and rigor across all deliverables.
  • Thought Leadership

    • Serve as a global thought leader and subject matter expert on emerging risks in the digital and technology landscape, shaping the organization’s intellectual capital and representing the practice at key industry forums.
  • People Leadership

    • Inspire, develop, and coach the team to enhance capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
    • Innovate to deepen domain expertise and elevate the practice’s value proposition.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in consulting, sales, or internal advisory roles in risk or assurance roles.
  • Expert level knowledge in regulatory frameworks, prudential requirements, and regulatory change.
  • Experience in providing advisory solutions (communicating broad strategic initiatives) and building relationships at the CRO level.
  • Hands-on experience in leading and personally scoping, structuring, selling and delivering large scale enterprise and/or divisional risk transformation programs.
  • Ability to influence a team of peers and stakeholders not in direct line of supervision; should establish credibility to operate among the Consulting Leadership.
  • Displays the key tenets of Genpact’s culture…i.e. Curiosity, Incisiveness and Courageousness on a bedrock of Integrity.
  • Demonstrates the intellectual agility and curiosity needed to bring incisive perspectives and innovative approaches to a discussion.
  • Decisiveness and comfort taking risks when working with ambiguity undefined.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Sales & Commercial Acumen

    • Demonstrated success in consultative sales—understanding client needs, crafting tailored solutions, and influencing decision-makers.
    • Proven track record in leading international sales and consultative engagements in the ERC space.
    • Proven track record of building and scaling risk consulting or managed services businesses, ideally within a global consulting firm or Big 4 environment.
  • Leadership and Influence

    • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence across matrixed organizations, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Domain Expertise

    • Deep exposure across risks and controls, risk management, regulatory compliance, audit, compliance, etc.
    • Ability to integrate multiple risk domains (e.g., operational, financial, IT, regulatory) into a cohesive offering for financial controllers and CFOs.
    • Well versed with digital risk, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies impacting the CFO and risk landscape.
