Lean Manager – Marketing Statement

Position Summary
The Lean Manager directs and leads all Lean activities across the site. Provides leadership and delivery of improvement programs to increase the site’s competitiveness. Responsible for:
- Personal delivery of Lean Sigma Black Belt projects
- Coaching of Green Belts/Kaizens/A3s
- Serving as the lead source of expertise on applying lean sigma tools and techniques

A member of the Site Leadership team, accountable for current site performance while shaping the future strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drive the culture of High-Performing Teams (HPT) across site leadership and support all functions
- Act as the interface between the site and the Product Group/Division in all Improvement/HPT matters
- Lead with Business Continuity and Risk Management, ensuring effective strategy deployment and execution
- Deliver business improvements and cost savings through project execution
- Coach Green Belts and improve problem-solving (Kaizen/A3s) capabilities across the site
- Lead the deployment of HPTs and develop a maturity improvement plan
- Analyse and measure complex business processes, developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements
- Oversee Business Continuity and Risk Management, aligning with strategy deployment
Qualifications
- Lean Sigma Black Belt required; Black Belt highly desirable
- Results-driven track record of improvement and automation projects, particularly in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
- Cross-functional leadership experience demonstrated
- Essential manufacturing experience (ideal: operations leadership background)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
- Must be independent and highly prioritised, working with minimal supervision to meet deadelines
- Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project) or equivalent
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web navigation
