Lean Manager – Drive Operational Excellence at NoteMachine
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Department: Operations
Are you ready to lead transformative change and embed a culture of Operational Excellence? At NoteMachine, we’re seeking a Lean Manager to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings, eliminate waste, and enhance customer service performance. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with operational teams and senior leadership across multiple countries, driving breakthrough projects and building organizational capability.
What You’ll Do
- Champion Cost Productivity: Sponsor cost productivity goals and foster a culture of Operational Excellence that creates competitive advantage.
- Identify Projects: Lead Integrated Deck Building (IDB) Workshops to identify and prioritize cost-saving initiatives aligned with country goals.
- Deliver Breakthrough Projects: Execute needle-moving projects through Kaizen events, applying Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Standardized Work.
- Enhance Operations Management Systems: Implement and improve systems to sustain performance, solve problems, and enable incremental continuous improvement.
- Build Organizational Capability: Provide training while mentoring and developing future operational and Lean practitioners.
- Champion Change Management: Drive process changes effectively through training, communication, and monitoring.
- Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with senior leadership and operational leads to achieve cost productivity targets.

What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in operations, process improvement, and Lean leadership.
- Proven track record in operational excellence and change management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Lean certification is a plus; hands-on Lean implementation experience is essential.
