CNX Recruitment are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management and Engineering services provider supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cheshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lean Practitioner to join a high-performing team within a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in embedding Lean methodologies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and enhancing engineering and maintenance performance across a critical Hard Services FM contract.
The Role
As Lean Practitioner, you will lead the delivery of continuous improvement programmes that improve operational efficiency, increase asset reliability, reduce waste, and support compliance within a pharmaceutical environment.
Working closely with operational teams, engineering managers and client stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, implement Lean best practices, and help create a culture focused on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a structured Continuous Improvement Plan aligned to business objectives.
- Apply Lean tools including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and waste reduction techniques.
- Analyse maintenance performance data and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Drive improvements in planned maintenance compliance, asset reliability and service performance.
- Facilitate improvement workshops, problem-solving sessions and team engagement activities.
- Support standardisation of engineering processes and best practice across the contract.
- Ensure all improvement initiatives maintain compliance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Coach and mentor operational teams in Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
- Promote innovation through digital solutions, data analysis and industry best practice.

About You
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Lean or Continuous Improvement role within Facilities Management, Engineering or Technical Services.
- Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies including Six Sigma, Kaizen and 5S.
- Experience working within regulated sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences or healthcare.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and drive measurable improvements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for operational excellence.

Desirable
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt (or equivalent).
- Experience using CAFM systems and digital maintenance platforms.
- Knowledge of GMP/GxP environments.
- Experience within Hard Services Facilities Management.
