Position Summary
Voto Latino is seeking a Partnerships & Advocacy Associate to support in the development, management, and expansion of strategic partnerships across Voto Latino, as well as lead Voto Latino’s On-Campus program. This position will be key in ensuring that Voto Latino builds community power through coordinated cross-sector collaboration. The Partnerships & Advocacy Associate will report to the Chief Programs Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
VL On-Campus (75%)
- Identify and establish partnerships with colleges and universities across the country
- Build relationships with student leaders, campus administrators, national fraternities/sororities and their chapters, and student organizations
- Serve as primary Voto Latino representative and liaison for campus networks and students
- Develop trainings and workshops for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting VL On-Campus leaders
- Recruit, train, and mentor student volunteers and campus leaders
- Lead voter engagement campaigns and drives on campus locations
- Train and supervise student volunteers in voter engagement best practices
Partnerships (25%)
- Support identification and outreach to potential partners aligned with Voto Latino’s mission
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners
- Coordinate initial partnership discussions and facilitate meetings between leadership and prospective partners
- Support coordination of joint programming with partner organizations
- Prepare partnership status reports, case studies, and impact documents
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned partner organizations

Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively and courteously with coworkers, partners, vendors, sponsors, and external constituents
- Strong logistical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated passion for leadership development and advancing communities of color
- Dependable, motivated, innovative, and able to function in a fast-paced deadline-driven work environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- High professional and ethical standards when handling confidential information
- Flexible, has strong initiative, and is able to work independently
- Thrives in a team environment to achieve institutional goals
- Salesforce experience is preferred
- Travel requirement: Up to 15% time
Compensation & Benefits
Partnerships & Advocacy Associate position will receive an annual salary of $55,000-65,000. Voto Latino offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, paid vacation leave, and 401k plan. This is a full-time employment position.
