Do you love designing impactful learning journeys that nourish people and unlock their potential?
Can you partner confidently with senior leaders to understand business needs and translate them into an effective Learning and Development strategy for the business?
If so, we want to hear from you!

Here at the Cornish Bakery, we want to redefine what a bakery is, does and can be. At our heart we are for and about people, and a part of the local community. Our purpose is to nourish people.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Learning and Development expert who can closely partner with senior leaders to support the delivery of our People agenda by shaping and executing our learning and development strategy.
You will play a key role in the People team, designing and delivering learning solutions that drive growth, performance and engagement in a growing business. As a trusted leader, you’ll take the time to deeply understand the business, its challenges, and its ambitions — ensuring learning adds genuine value and makes a measurable difference.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
