Rare Opportunity: Learning & Development & Engagement Coordinator
Location: Peterborough Contract Type: Hybrid Salary: £34,000
We're delighted to be partnering with a well-established FMCG business to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Learning & Development & Engagement Coordinator.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, or HR who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a real impact on people, culture, and capability.
Working closely with the People & Culture team, you'll take the lead on delivering engaging learning initiatives, creating impactful communications, coordinating employee engagement activities, and designing and delivering soft skills training that helps colleagues develop and perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, creating, and delivering engaging soft skills training programmes and workshops across the business
- Facilitating learning sessions for colleagues, team leaders, and managers with varying learning styles and experience levels
- Creating engaging communications, presentations, learning materials, and toolkits to bring initiatives to life
- Coordinating employee engagement activities, recognition initiatives, team events, and employee forums
- Working with managers to identify capability gaps and support learning and development solutions
- Supporting the administration and continuous improvement of learning systems and training records
- Gathering feedback from training and engagement activities, measuring effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Building strong relationships across the business to promote a positive culture of continuous learning and engagement

Person Specification
- Previous experience in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, HR, Internal Communications, or a similar people-focused role
- Experience designing and delivering engaging training programmes, particularly soft skills training
- A creative individual who enjoys developing innovative learning materials and employee engagement initiatives
- A confident facilitator and excellent communicator who can engage audiences at all levels
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced operational environment (highly desirable)
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or learning administration (advantageous)
- A coaching, training, or CIPD qualification (beneficial but not essential)
