Our client is a high-growth, specialist staffing business operating across Technology. With an established reputation and ambitious growth plans, they are investing heavily in the development of their people and are looking to appoint a Learning and Development lead to support the continued success of their sales teams.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on coaching and performance role focused on driving sales excellence across the organisation. Working closely with senior leadership and team managers, you will identify opportunities to improve performance, enhance consistency, and support consultants at every stage of their career. The successful candidate will spend significant time working directly with teams, providing live coaching, analysing performance metrics, supporting development plans, and helping to embed high-performance behaviours that lead to sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leaders and managers to improve individual and team performance.
  • Deliver one-to-one coaching, call coaching, desk-side support, and structured performance reviews.
  • Design and facilitate training programmes for employees at all levels, from new starters through to leadership teams.
  • Identify performance trends and recommend practical solutions to improve results.
  • Support managers in implementing structured coaching frameworks and accountability processes.
  • Drive improvements across business development, client engagement, candidate generation, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Monitor KPIs and help consultants translate activity into consistent revenue generation.
  • Deliver workshops and coaching sessions aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Develop coaching resources, playbooks, and performance tools to support long-term consultant development.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • A strong background in recruitment, with contract recruitment experience viewed favourably.
  • Proven success within a recruitment or sales-focused environment.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, managing, or developing recruitment professionals.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify performance gaps and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the confidence to challenge, motivate, and influence others.
  • A proactive, organised, and results-focused approach.
  • A genuine passion for developing people and helping individuals achieve their full potential.
