Learning & Development Manager
Location: Manchester (with regular travel across our branch network) Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Every consultant we develop and every leader we support has a direct impact on how we deliver outstanding outcomes for schools and the education sector.

You’ll ensure learning is practical, commercially focused, and embedded into everyday recruitment activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver learning programmes across:
- Onboarding
- Recruitment
- Sales
- Leadership development
- Coach consultants and managers via:
- Live desk support
- Role plays
- One-to-one development
- Create practical learning resources, playbooks, and development frameworks
- Identify capability gaps and collaborate with leaders to improve performance
- Embed best practices across the Group, evolving learning based on business needs
- Support compliance and process training as required
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring proven experience in a recruitment environment, with a deep understanding of what drives success on a recruitment desk.
Essential Requirements
- Experience delivering Learning & Development within recruitment
- Proven ability to design and deliver structured training programmes
- Strong coaching skills to improve individual performance
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management expertise
- A practical, commercially focused approach to learning
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Desirable
- Background in recruitment or billing
- CIPD or equivalent L&D qualification
- Experience building onboarding or academy-style programmes
- Experience working across multiple teams or brands
