Here's a bit about the opportunity...
We're looking for two experienced Learning & Development Managers to join our growing Learning & Development team. These are fantastic opportunities for individuals who enjoy combining learning design, facilitation and client partnership to create meaningful development experiences that make a measurable difference.
You'll work closely with a portfolio of clients to design and deliver engaging learning solutions for early careers and manager populations. Through creating exceptional in person and virtual learning experiences, you'll play a key role in shaping the learning strategy, building trusted client relationships, and ensuring exceptional delivery developing the skills and behaviours for the future.
You will be based in Scotland as you undertake significant delivery across the region and occasionally support delivery on client sites in other UK locations. Some travel to Amberjack’s Head Office in Newbury as required.
As a Learning & Development Manager, you'll support client engagements from discovery through to taking ownership of delivery and evaluation, ensuring every programme is impactful, commercially relevant and aligned to client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning design and content development
- Reviewing and adapting our content to ensure engaging learning solutions for an early careers audience
- Creating workshops and resource materials that create seamless journeys
- Ensuring content is relevant, impactful and aligned to client needs

Facilitation and programme delivery
- Delivering high-impact learning experiences across multiple formats
- Facilitating engaging workshops that drive participation and development
- Using feedback and insight to continuously improve outcomes

Client management and partnership
- Building trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Acting as the day-to-day contact throughout programme delivery
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen learning solutions and partnerships

Operational and commercial contribution
- Coordinating programme delivery and maintaining quality standards
- Monitoring performance and programme effectiveness
- Supporting business development and continuous improvement initiatives
Who we're looking for...
Someone who combines learning expertise with strong facilitation skills, commercial awareness and a passion for helping people realise their potential.
You'll need:
- Experience designing and delivering learning and development solutions
- Strong workshop facilitation skills across both virtual and face-to-face environments
- Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder communications
- The ability to translate business challenges into engaging and effective learning interventions
- Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence working independently whilst maintaining exceptional service standards
- Experience using learning insight and feedback to improve programme effectiveness

- Have experience delivering programmes within early careers or emerging talent environments
- Have worked within a learning consultancy or client-facing L&D role
- Hold qualifications or accreditations in coaching, or psychometrics such as DiSC/Insights
- Bring fresh ideas that enhance learning experiences and client outcomes
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where no two days are the same
