Location: Healix Group, Healix House, Esher Green
Join Healix and Help Shape Clinical Capability Worldwide
At Healix, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced and innovative Learning & Development Partner – Clinical to lead the design, development and continuous evolution of learning and capability programmes that support our global Clinical Assistance teams.
This is a unique opportunity to combine expertise in learning and development with an interest in healthcare operations, helping to create engaging learning experiences that improve performance, confidence, critical thinking and decision-making across our international workforce.
Whether your background is in healthcare education, operational training, instructional design or organisational development, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clinical colleagues have the knowledge, skills and support they need to deliver exceptional service for our clients worldwide.
About The Role
As the Learning & Development Partner – Clinical, you will act as a trusted learning partner to clinical and operational leaders, translating operational requirements into effective and engaging learning solutions.
You'll be responsible for designing onboarding pathways, developing our Clinical Academy, supporting career development frameworks and ensuring learning interventions are aligned to business priorities, clinical governance standards and operational excellence.
Working closely with clinical teams, subject matter experts, operational leaders and People colleagues, you'll help build capability across multiple locations and levels of experience.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, Capability Development or Operational Learning roles.
- Experience designing, developing and implementing learning programmes and training solutions.
- Strong instructional design skills and an understanding of adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Learning Management Systems or digital learning platforms.
- Strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Experience within healthcare, medical assistance, travel risk management, emergency response or similarly complex operational environments.
- Experience developing academies, career pathways or competency frameworks.
- CIPD, Learning & Development qualification or equivalent experience.
Clinical Experience
We welcome applications from candidates with a clinical background (e.g. Nursing or Allied Health Professional experience); however, clinical experience is desirable rather than essential. We are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate exceptional learning and development expertise, instructional design capability and the ability to translate complex operational requirements into impactful learning solutions.
For candidates who wish to maintain active NMC registration, Healix is committed to supporting professional practice requirements. Subject to operational arrangements, we would facilitate opportunities to achieve the 450 hours of registered clinical practice required over a three-year revalidation period.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About The Company
We offer UK employee healthcare benefits, and travel, medical and security assistance in every corner of the globe. Our purpose is to help people in difficult situations – whether that’s a cancer diagnosis, a need for medical assistance when they’re far from home, or being caught up in conflict or natural disaster. We talk to them, support them, and make sure they get the help they need. If necessary, we’ll pull them out and bring them home.
We’re co-ordinators and problem-solvers: experts at navigating the global health and security landscape. Our teams of doctors, nurses, travel and medical co-ordinators and security experts make sure that your people will be looked after, whatever happens supported by technology designed help individuals, not slot them into a predetermined solution.
We work with governments, broadcasters, NGOs, international corporations, major insurers and more. No two clients are the same: we adapt our services to their needs.
More importantly, we adapt to the practical and human needs of the individuals we protect. Most of us are on the front line; we keep our back office lean. We don’t use scripts, and we don’t time calls. We never lose sight of the fact that we’re dealing with real people.
Company Culture
Instead, we focus on ensuring our highly trained specialists have the space and time they need to be effective. We let them use their initiative to get the job done, because the situations they face often throw up unexpected challenges – and no protocol survives contact with the real world.
Our clients have thousands of employees and customers, at home and abroad, so they need a business big enough to handle any situation. But they chose Healix because they also need an organisation that’s personal enough to care.
Our people are driven to do things in the best way, not the way they have always been done. We work hard, and our efforts are rewarded with great development opportunities and a supportive team spirit.
We want to nurture this friendly and dynamic company culture so that we can continue to attract diverse talent with a breadth of knowledge and world-class skills. As a part of Healix, you can expect a range of excellent benefits and an environment where people really do care.
