Learning and Engagement Advisor

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our newly shaped JoJo Maman Bébé People Team at an exciting time, helping colleagues grow in confidence, capability, and career progression.

About the Opportunity

At JoJo, we believe learning and growth is a journey we take together. We seek a Learning and Engagement Advisor with experience in retail learning, possessing energy, creativity, and structure to deliver a compelling learning offer across:

  • Technical areas
  • Compliance training
  • Core skills development

Your learning should be engaging, accessible, and fit for the future.


Responsibilities

As the Learning and Engagement Advisor, you will:

Lead Delivery & Coordination

  • Deliver learning and development activities including:
    • Core skills
    • Compliance training
    • Role-specific learning

Learning Management System (LMS) Expertise

  • Administer and manage the LMS:
    • Ensure content accuracy, accessibility, and engagement
    • Keep materials up-to-date
  • Promote learning offerings across the business to encourage engagement

Track & Analyse Engagement

  • Monitor attendance, completion rates, and feedback
  • Maintain accurate learning records

Submit to Compliance

  • Support mandatory training completion
  • Follow up with non-completers as needed

Induction & Onboarding Support

  • Oversee delivery of the organisation’s induction programme
  • Collaborate with recrutiem and People Assistant for seamless handover

New Starter Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate induction sessions and learning activities
    • Planning, materials prep, logistics
  • Track completion, feedback, and escalate relevant insights

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate engagement activities aligning with JoJo’s culture, values, and learning philosophy
  • Work on:
    • Engagement campaigns
    • Inclusion initiatives
    • Awareness drives
    • Surveys and feedback collation

Key Requirements Skills & Experience

  • Retail-focused learning development and delivery expertise
  • Ability to design engaging, practical learning solutions for varied audiences
  • Strong organisation & multitasking capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with logistics, scheduling, and admin
  • Hands-on LMS & eLearning tool proficiency (e.g., Canva, Articulate Rise)

Additional Requirements

  • Regular London office presence (Battersea) for on-site support
  • Occasional store/travel support as required
