Daikin Applied is seeking a Learning Content Developer II who is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and cataloguing of digital assets for Daikin Learning. Under general supervision, you will work closely with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts to create learning solutions for use in e-learning, video, audio classroom, and infographics containing highly technical engineering topics. Location: Plymouth, MN, Hybrid

What You Will Do

  • Content Development (75%)
    Works with Instructional Designers and SMEs to create learning content objects for digital and in-person delivery of learning solutions (eLearning, videos, pdf's, infographics). Converts technical concepts and technical specifications into learning assets.

  • Project Management (15%)
    Responsible for the management of multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Administrative/Reporting (10%)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience with one or more of these content creation tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe products, Articulate products, Vyond, text to speech software
  • Experience on technical subject matters
  • 10% travel
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years Instructional Design experience.
  • Technology: Adobe suite, SnagIt, Webex, CAD, Pathway, Cornerstone, Intrepid
  • Leveraging various modalities of design: Virtual Instructor Led, eLearning
  • Technical HVAC knowledge
  • Reporting and data analysis

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300k - $120,700k in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
