Learning Content Specialist (12 Month FTC)

Senior Learning Content Designer (AI-Focused) – 12 Month FTC Cover Role

Hours: Part time – 22.5 hours per week (3 days) Location: Hybrid – Colindale office, London (with flexible working arrangements)

About the Role

Welcome to Utility Warehouse (UW)! Here, we’re on a mission to simplify utilities by bringing them all together under one bill—covering energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance—while helping customers save money and time. As we grow—aiming to double in size—we’re investing in people who share our vision of making technology work for the customer and reducing unnecessary complexity.

In a company built on collaboration and progress, we’re looking for a Rate Performer Learning Content Designer with a personality who thrives in tech-driven, people-forward environments. You’ll be an AI-native, agile thinker—someone who thrives in dynamic environments, coaches colleagues naturally, and turns messy problems into sharp, engaging solutions.

(fancy that? Read on.)

Who You Are

You’re the kind of person who approaches work with the following edge:

  • Agile working: Experienced in fast-paced, remote-first, or hybrid agile settings—passionate about planning work, mobilising teams, and aligning output to real business impact.
  • Business-minded storyteller: Confidently crafting proposals, business cases, or roadmaps with a crystal-clear value-offer attached.
  • AI & tool-ling whizz: Practical, hands-on experience designing and utilising AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) for content development and iteration—think pivotal prompts, sourcing new AI software, testing at scale, and compiling cold, hard business cases.
  • Digital-first designer/publisher: Your toolkit includes adobe creative applications, learning technologies such as Articulate Evolve or AI-assistants for visuals, and the confidence to translate raw ideas into engaging digital or ILT (facilitated) assets.
  • Commercial scholar: Translating strategy into training and vice versa—able to work with vendors, external SMEs, and AI-powered platforms without losing your mark on priorities for UW’s ambitious expectations next year.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
