Overview
Subsea7 are seeking an experienced and motivated Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to join our team based in Sutton, UK on a 12-month contract basis.
We are looking for an experienced professional in L&D with the ability to apply advanced theory to bring measurable improvement to business performance through applied L&D concepts. Proactive in diagnosing and offering innovative solutions, leaning on relevant prior experience and robust knowledge of theory. Able to oversee and carry out challenging, complex projects and processes with minimal supervision.
Individual is responsible for mapping, designing, and delivering learning and development programs in line with global and local solutions implemented in the region, aligned with Corporate strategy for the onshore population. Identifies development and learning needs for individuals and teams across all levels and action plans accordingly. Plans, organizes, and delivers learning programs, continuously improving processes to ensure employees are trained and qualified according to organizational standards and procedures, using digital and innovative approaches. Ensures governance of policies related to Learning & Development for the onshore workforce.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys a varied workload, is comfortable in a practical role, can manage shifting priorities, ranging from coordinating activities and projects to developing engaging learning modules.
What will you be doing?
- Identify and map learning and development needs.
- Design, communicate, and deliver the annual learning plan according to required competencies for each target audience (leadership, individual contributors, business-related content, etc.).
- Develop and monitor L&D KPIs and ROI.
- Act as the LMS (Learning Management System) focal point for the Region.
- Manage mandatory and compliance learning, including validity control, indicator analysis, and reporting.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers and service suppliers, benchmarking best market practices.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Development and Organizational Development teams, HR Business Partners, and internal clients.
- Coordinates programs and scheduled events by arranging providers, issuing joining instructions, updating training records, payment of invoices, and collecting feedback.
- Supporting delivery of other key regional people objectives such as Conversion programme, Graduate development, and Mentoring programme.

What experience would we like you to have?

- Extensive experience in Learning & Development or related areas
- Ability to manage your own work, in managing priorities and delivering outcomes
- Ability to work across multiple teams and offices, managing conflicting priorities and reinforcing standardized way of working.
- Effective results-driven mindset.
- Clear, structured, and collaborative communication style.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure consistent follow-up.
- Consultative approach, with the ability to work with stakeholders and negotiate solutions.
- Solid methodical approach, with ease in working with data, metrics, and performance indicators.
- Experience with distance learning management systems (LMS).
- CIPD preferable
