An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, people-centric and commercially minded Learning & Development Manager / Coach to join our central team. Thesleff Group operates Los Mochis Notting Hill, Los Mochis London City, Sale e Pepe Knightsbridge, and Viajante87, with two new openings in 2026 – Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham Hotel and Ma/Na Mayfair.
This newly created role is ideal for a hospitality-led L&D professional who is excited by the opportunity to build from the ground up, shape, and lead the Group’s learning and development strategy from the ground up, supporting our people and leaders as the business continues to grow.
We’re looking for a proactive, forward-thinking Learning & Development Coach who thrives on autonomy, communicates with confidence, and influences at every level of the business.
This is a role for someone who loves shaping strategy and rolling up their sleeves to deliver in-person learning, creating visible, measurable impact across a fast-growing, multi-brand hospitality group.
You’ll bring a passion for modern learning: coaching, NLP, adaptive learning and gamified experiences, ideally sharpened in a high-performance environment known for its relentless drive for excellence.
The Learning & Development Manager / Coach will be responsible for designing, implementing, and embedding a comprehensive learning and development framework across the Group. This includes leadership development, operational training, compliance training, and career progression pathways.
As the first dedicated L&D hire, you will take ownership of the full L&D lifecycle — from needs analysis and programme design through to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of learning within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
