Learning & Development Site Lead
Role: Full-time, permanent Location: Barnstaple, North Devon Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits
This role will require you to be ON SITE 5 days per week
The Role
A member of the Hub or Site based People Team that supports all colleagues based in the Hub or Site.
The Learning & Development (L&D) Lead is responsible for delivering learning solutions that build workforce capability, strengthen leadership, and support the long-term talent strategy for the Hub or the Site. This role partners with HR, Commercial, Operations, Quality, managers and functional leaders to identify skills gaps and deploy established programmes using external partners where needed. Delivery of career progression using the Accord Career Compass and supporting managers to deliver quality coaching interventions in support of colleagues personal career journey.

The role is both strategic and hands-on, delivering high-quality training experiences to employees across all levels, from frontline teams to managers and emerging leaders, in alignment with the talent development strategy.

The Person
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Organisational Development, Psychology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development roles.
- Strong experience designing and facilitating adult learning programmes.
- Skilled in instructional design, facilitation, needs analysis, and evaluation.
- Strong experience using digital learning tools and LMS platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Experience with leadership development frameworks or behavioural assessment tools (Insights, MBTI, DiSC, Hogan, etc.).
- Strong facilitation and storytelling skills
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Excellent stakeholder engagement
- Data-driven decision making
- Creativity, curiosity, and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to build trust across a diverse workforce
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
