Learning & Development Specialist | Tata Consumer Products | UK - Eaglescliffe

Are you passionate about L&D?

Are you looking for a role with an important impact?

Look no further! Our team are looking for a keen and proactive Learning & Development Specialist to join our Eaglescliffe manufacturing site. A key focus will be establishing an operational business partnering approach, providing compliance support and partnering with operational managers to deliver strategic CAPEX and site improvement projects. This position will play a critical role in developing the skills, capability and compliance that keep our operations running safely, efficiently and effectively.

What you'll do:

  • ✅ Leading training compliance across the manufacturing site
  • ✅ Building and coordinating site training plans, training matrices and capability roadmaps
  • ✅ Supporting future capability planning through skills mapping, training needs analysis and workforce planning
  • ✅ Delivering and coordinating engaging learning solutions, SOP training and development activities
  • ✅ Working with managers and stakeholders to identify capability gaps and drive continuous improvement
  • ✅ Managing external training providers and budgets to maximise value and effectiveness
  • ✅ Partnering with Health & Safety teams to maintain audit-ready compliance and training records
  • ✅ Supporting site projects, operational change and launch readiness through effective training planning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
